1 Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy.2 Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.3 Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.4 Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.6 Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.7 In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

4 He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.5 As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
