11 Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.12 Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
1 But Job answered and said,2 Hear diligently my speech, and let this be your consolations.3 Suffer me that I may speak; and after that I have spoken, mock on.4 As for me, is my complaint to man? and if it were so, why should not my spirit be troubled?5 Mark me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth.
5 That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?6 Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds;7 Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he?8 He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.
11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
